Exceeding Abundantly

Ephesians 3:14-21:

14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

20 Now to him who is able to do exceeding abundantly more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.“

Here’s what I know…

If I am not rooted and established in the LOVE of Christ, everything is out of whack. My prayers, my insight, my thoughts, everything. Why? Because it’s from His love that everything flows. Everyday I need a fresh revelation and encounter with His love because it’s THAT GOOD. His love never grows stale, it never becomes mediocre– it’s always real, fresh and deep.

How can we know this love?

By spending time with Him– drinking in His love through His Word, His presence, through worship.

From this place we WILL see His power at work within us and all around us. It’s time to allow our FAITH to rise above all fear, doubt, and questions. Faith trumps fear. Whether it’s finances, direction, unknowns…FAITH trumps all. Faith in Him & His LOVE.

He desires to do “exceeding abundantly MORE” than we could ever dream possible. Let’s surrender our ideals, our plans, for His exceedingly abundantly MORE. Trust me, it’s far BETTER than we could ever imagine.

Why? Because He IS GOOD. He IS LOVE.

So, what are you praying and believing for today?

Let’s posture our hearts in faith and surrender to His Love. EXPECT the MORE.
