š·Welcome back to Part Two of Who God IS {and IsnĆ¢ā¬ā¢t}. If you havenĆ¢ā¬ā¢t yet read Part One please do so before moving on to Part Two.This last portion might step on religious toes but weĆ¢ā¬ā¢re going there anyway šLetĆ¢ā¬ā¢s jump right inĆ¢ā¬Ā¦HereĆ¢ā¬ā¢s the deal- God is Sovereign but HeĆ¢ā¬ā¢s NOT in control of EVERYTHING.Psalm 115:16 says, Ć¢ā¬ÅThe highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to man.Ć¢ā¬ļæ½ The LORD has given us the ability to rule and reign on earth. Yes He is Sovereign but not everything is under His control. I know this may step on some religious toes but this is Truth.God gave us, His children, free will. We choose how we live our lives, whether we accept or reject JesusĆ¢ā¬ā¢ sacrifice, whether or not weĆ¢ā¬ā¢ll love Him with our entire being or simply say weĆ¢ā¬ā¢re Ć¢ā¬ÅbelieversĆ¢ā¬ļæ½. He gave us choice; therefore not everything is under His control. We all have free will. This is true love- allowing us to CHOOSE to love Him or not. He does not make us conform into robots that are controlled by His dictatorship from Heaven; He desires a healthy, intimate relationship with us, one that we choose. HeĆ¢ā¬ā¢s already chosen us by sending His Son, Jesus, to give His life on our behalf {and of course be raised from the dead VICTORIOUSLY! :)}God has given every human being the free will to choose how to live their lives- whether for good or evil. Unfortunately some choose evil and horrific things are happening across the world because of this.Does God care? Yes. Do horrendous acts of violence and evil break His heart? Absolutely. Does He intervene? More often than we know, in ways we cannot see. God IS love and His heart aches just like ours do.IĆ¢ā¬ā¢ve heard so many Christians make excuses for their lives and even for sickness by saying, Ć¢ā¬ÅWell, God is control so whatever happens, happens.Ć¢ā¬ļæ½ This completely dismisses us of our own responsibility as Believers in Jesus Christ.Jesus gave us authority when He died and rose again- He released US, His Bride, to walk in authority as releasers of His Kingdom here on earth. But often we donĆ¢ā¬ā¢t take up the responsibility we ought to. Instead we blame our circumstances on God and become bitter toward Him, when really we have the ability to make a huge impact on our circumstances and the world around us simply because the Kingdom of the LIVING God dwells inside of us!Father God is the most incredible Father we could ever know. He cares for His children better than any human father ever could. We simply need our hearts and minds transformed by His love and Truth in order to receive all that He is. How does this happen? By saying āYESā to Him and inviting Him into our lives; through the incredible, infallible Word of God, the Bible; and also through RICH, personal encounters in His presence. He is ALWAYS with us and His love toward us never changes.May we encounter Yahweh, the great I AM, the God of LOVE, Hope and Peace in ways we never have before as we allow the Truth of Who He is to penetrate our hearts and lives. May this Truth break down every lie weĆ¢ā¬ā¢ve ever believed about Who He is! Amen!
